Virat Kohli is an Indian cricketer and the current captain of the India national team. A right-handed top-order batsman, Kohli is regarded as one of the best contemporary batsmen in the world. He is regarded as one of the most complete batsmen, having a fine batting technique with a powerful throwing arm.
He has scored over 600 runs in 15 innings since January 2018, including four Test centuries and a score of 149 runs against Sri Lanka. Virat Kohli has also scored a total of 35 half-centuries from 113 innings in international cricket. Kohli was also involved in a controversial spot-fixing scandal in 2013, but was subsequently exonerated of any wrongdoing. He was awarded the ICC Cricket World Player of the Year award in 2014, 2015 and 2016, and was named captain of the ICC Test and ODI teams in 2017.

He has scored over 1,000 runs in domestic cricket in each of the last four seasons. In 2014, he was the runner-up for the ICC Emerging Player of the Year award and then won the award the following year. Mitchell Marsh has represented Australia in eleven Tests and fifty-five ODIs, with his international career at its most prolific during the 2017-18 Ashes series. He has scored 318 runs in eight innings, including one century.
